Meanwhile, Homestead didn't have quite enough to beat New Haven on Saturday and fell 58-55. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Spartans came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 149th).

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers' win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Homestead, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
