It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but North Broward Prep ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past the Everglades Gators 4-3. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Filippo Baldassarri looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Kiernan O'Neill was incredible, firing off two home runs while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. Max Burkholz was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
North Broward Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Everglades only managed five hits.
