In what's become a running theme this season, the Sacred Heart Indians gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They breezed by St. Paul on the road to the tune of 81-53. The win was familiar territory for Sacred Heart who now have five in a row.
Sacred Heart got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nic Angerstein out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. Angerstein is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least six every time he's taken the court this season. Andrew Steffek was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds.
Sacred Heart's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 29-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 87.5 points per game. As for St. Paul, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-16 record this season.
Sacred Heart does not have any more games scheduled as of now. St. Paul also has no future games currently scheduled.
