Another player making a difference was Bella Kist, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

The result came thanks to Sierra Albright's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up 16 Ks. Those 16 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
On the hitting side, Bald Eagle Area's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Sydney Thompson, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.
Westmont Hilltop pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Bald Eagle Area, their record now sits at 9-3.
Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Westmont Hilltop hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .364. However, it's not like Bald Eagle Area struggles in that department as they've averaged .349. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
