With a playoff game on the line, the NSU University Sharks rose to the challenge on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Panthers a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for NSU University, who have now won ten matches by three goals or more so far this season.
The win was the sixth in a row for NSU University, bringing their record for this year to 14-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those six contests. As for Coral Springs Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.
NSU University has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Edison at 6:00 p.m. on February 14th. Edison is coming into the game with five straight defeats on the road, meaning NSU University will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. Coral Springs Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
