Point Arena's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dauki Bechtol, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 17 rebounds. Bechtol is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Derek Billy, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds.
Round Valley has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Point Arena, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5.
Round Valley will be playing at home against Anderson Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Anderson Valley has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1. As for Point Arena, they will head out on the road to take on Potter Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Potter Valley: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home, while Point Arena has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
