For Hamilton's part, Peyton Davis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits. Davis also tossed no walks, which is notable because the Big Blue are 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 2-5 otherwise.
