The West Forsyth Wolverines will host the Apalachee Wildcats  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 West Forsyth's pitching crew heads into the  game  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Tuesday. They blew past South Forsyth 12-0. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Wolverines.
  Elizabeth Bare looked comfortable as she  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.
 On the hitting side,  Madi Heine was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs and six  RBI while going 2-for-3. Those two  home runs gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Paige Carroll, who  scored three  runs while going 1-for-3.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, West Forsyth  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .593. That's a new  trend for them: their average  OBP was 35.8% earlier this season, but in their last five contests they've averaged 43.2%.
 Meanwhile, Apalachee got the win against Clarke Central  on Tuesday by a conclusive  9-1.
  Autumn Matherly made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. Matherly was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Kali Rosbury, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4.  Jordan Turner was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI and a  double.
 West Forsyth has  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-12 record  this season. As for Apalachee,  the  victory  got them back to even at 11-11.
