St. John Lutheran lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Bryce Disimile, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Disimile has scored all season. Brody Gravante was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
St. John Lutheran bumped their record down to 2-11 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for First Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. John Lutheran will take on Innovation Montessori at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Innovation Montessori is ranked 789th, while St. John Lutheran is ranked 781st). As for First Academy, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Seven Rivers Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd.
