The Casey County Rebels''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 27-13 bruising from Rockcastle County. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Casey County in their matchups with Rockcastle County: they've now lost three in a row.
Rockcastle County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Caleb Moore out in front who picked up 94 receiving yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Warren, who threw for 141 yards and a touchdown.
Casey County now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Rockcastle County, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
Casey County will head out on the road to face off against Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rockcastle County, they will be playing at home against Estill County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
