The Jordan Red Jackets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Brookstone Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jordan is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
Last Friday, Jordan was the victim of a rough 69-47 loss at the hands of Columbus. Jordan has not had much luck with Columbus recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Even though Brookstone has not done well against Kendrick recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Brookstone took down Kendrick 69-50. Given Brookstone's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 185th, while Kendrick is ranked 378th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Brookstone can attribute much of their success to Fuller Jones, who went 8 for 13 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 0 assists. Grayson Miley was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
The last time Jordan won on the road was back back in November. Having now lost three straight away matchups, they've bumped their record down to 1-4. As for Brookstone, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
Jordan might still be hurting after the 73-47 defeat they got from Brookstone in their previous matchup back in November. Will Jordan have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more basketball content.
