The Hatch Bobcats won the last time they faced the University Charter Trail Blazers, and things went their way on Friday too. Hatch was the clear victor by a 72-47 margin over University Charter. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hatch.
University Charter lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jaylan Austin, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds. That's the first time this season that Austin scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zy'Darrius Harris, who scored eight points along with four steals and four blocks.
The win got Hatch back to even at 7-7. As for University Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hatch won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Choctaw County at 7:30 p.m. on December 16th. Choctaw County is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. University Charter will be home for the holidays to greet Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
