Cypress Ranch extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 4-2. They skirted past the Waller Bulldogs 35-33. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

It was another big night for Braden Baker, who rushed for 82 yards and one score on only seven carries, and also threw for 191 yards and a pair of TDs. Those 82 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. 93 of Baker's passing yards were hauled in by Manny Leyja, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Looking ahead, Cypress Ranch will look to defend their home field on the 18th against Cypress Lakes at 7:00 p.m. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Baker and Jimmy Alarcon. As for Waller, they will face off against Bridgeland at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Bears have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
