Jillian Lee put in work no matter where she played. She struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, McDaniel came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They skirted past the Guardians 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mountain Lions have posted since March 24th.
Like Cleveland, McDaniel also got a great game from a two-way player: Amira Edwards. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off three hits. Edwards was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Wednesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Cleveland has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .459. However, it's not like McDaniel struggles in that department as they've averaged .482. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Cleveland came up short against McDaniel in their previous meeting two weeks ago, falling 14-9. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
