Keller is 9-1 against Byron Nelson since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Indians will look to defend their home field against the Bobcat at 7:00 p.m. Keller knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Byron Nelson likes a good challenge.
On Tuesday, Keller was able to grind out a solid win over Southlake Carroll, taking the game 10-7. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Keller got a great performance from Avery Lawton as she didn't allow a single earned run over 5.1 innings pitched. Lawton has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Mackenna Jackson was a standout: she scored two runs while going 3-for-5. She has been hot recently, having also posted three or more RBI the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Addi Clark, who scored a run while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Byron Nelson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Timber Creek 2-1 on Tuesday.
Meredith Hambric spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up seven Ks.
On the hitting side, Byron Nelson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Arianna Morales, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Keller pushed their record up to 17-6-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. As for Byron Nelson, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10-1 record this season.
Keller beat Byron Nelson 11-6 when the teams last played back in March. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Bobcat have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
