Weequahic found their leader in underclassman Tyhir Barlow, who scored 23 points along with three steals. Barlow has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Hekeimu Williams was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Weequahic is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season. As for Tech, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
Weequahic will be playing at home against the Phoenix at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
