The biggest upset of the week belonged to Silver Valley, who defeated 735th ranked Desert, 52-45. Evan Martinez threw for 331 yards and 4 touchdowns during the win.
Fans got a thrill when Martinez and James Liker connected against the Scorpions. The longest such play in Desert Mountain this season, the connection resulted in 74 yards.
Matthew Steele was the best wideout in the league this week as Desert fell to the Trojans. Steele racked up 8 receptions for 185 yards. Chad Gleason helped Desert's passing attack out by catching 7 balls for 106 yards.
Matthew Moore was a passing and rushing force as the Scorpions lost to Silver Valley. He completed 16 passes for 299 yards and also ran for 87 yards.

Matthew Marable of Excelsior Charter ran for the longest rushing play in the league this season against California Military Institute last week. Marable ran for 81 yards on the play and finished with 243 on the day as his team bested the ROUGH RIDERS.
