Olympus got a great performance from Cougar Vance as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Vance has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Olympus let Josh Stohl and JACK EVANS run wild. Stohl went 2-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs, while EVANS got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave EVANS a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of CADE FELTS, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Olympus pushed their record up to 13-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
