The Chambers Cougars won the last time they faced the Harding University Rams, and things went their way on Friday too. Chambers enjoyed a cozy 68-49 victory over the Rams.
Brianna Redmond had a dynamite game for Chambers, scoring 22 points along with two steals. Lacie Grovner was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Chambers' win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Harding University, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chambers will square off against the Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopewell is out to stop a nine-game streak of losses at home. As for Harding University, they will head out on the road to face off against the Mavericks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mallard Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine matches -- so hopefully the Rams like a good challenge.
