WILLIAM LUDWIG and AARON MORGAN provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Simon Kenton. The longest such play in 5A District 5 this season, the connection resulted in 80 yards.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Scott beat Holy Cross 55-13,. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Cooper's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Jaguars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. LUDWIG has thrown for 1,032 yards and 9 touchdowns this season, while COREY FUSSINGER has 25 catches for 317 yards.
Two of the top teams in the league will go toe-to-toe this week when Cooper takes on Scott. The Jaguars' offense has recorded 81 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while Dan Woolley's team has permitted only 55 on the year.
An important game coming up in 5A District 5 this week will be when South Oldham takes on Conner. The Dragons are currently in third, while the Cougars are in second.
The league will see a high scoring game when the Eagles and Cooper face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Scott comes in having scored 61 this season, while Randy Borchers' team has scored 81. The Eagles scored 55 points last week as they bested the Indians.
Scott took down Holy Cross 55-13 last week, the largest margin of any game.
