Wyoming Area didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hudson Sharpe and Trustin Johnson.
Meanwhile, Pittston's game on Friday was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 14-13 win over Wallenpaupack Area. Those 14 points were actually the fewest the Patriots have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.
Wyoming Area better keep an eye on Brody Spindler. He was instrumental in Pittston's win, rushing for 140 yards and one touchdown. Spindler's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 102 rushing yards.

Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Wyoming Area has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 260.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Pittston struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 231.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Wyoming Area against Pittston in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 28-0 victory. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
