Meanwhile, Ponderosa waltzed into Saturday's contest with four straight wins but they left with five. Everything went their way against Grand Junction as Ponderosa made off with a 67-46 win. Ponderosa might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three contests by 21 points or more this season.
Adams City now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Ponderosa, they have yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 5-1 record.
Adams City was dealt a bruising 100-62 defeat at the hands of Ponderosa in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Thankfully for Adams City, Derek Slattery (who went 7 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 34 points and 3 assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
