The North Quincy Raiders lost against the Scituate Sailors back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. North Quincy received a tough blow as they fell 42-28 to Scituate. North Quincy has struggled against Scituate recently, as their matchup on Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
North Quincy's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Will Conley, who picked up 167 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Conley's longest reception was for an incredible 80 yards. Mikey Galligan was another key contributor, throwing for 211 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt.
Scituate can attribute much of their success to William Robinson, who rushed for 115 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Burrill, who rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown.
North Quincy's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Scituate, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Quincy will take on Hanover at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hanover's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last six matches. As for Scituate, they will be playing at home against Quincy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Quincy is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
