After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Berthoud, The Eaton Reds were happy to have found some success on Friday. They took down Forge Christian 24-7. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Eaton also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Connor Davey threw for 166 yards and a touchdown. Gunnar Duncan was his top target, picking up 98 receiving yards.
Eaton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Forge Christian, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4.
Eaton will take on The Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Academy is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Forge Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Fort Lupton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Fort Lupton is ranked 138th, while Forge Christian is ranked 121st).
