The Cypress Creek Coyotes lost against the Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate Phoenix back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Cypress Creek took a 59-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate. Cypress Creek has not had much luck with Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Several Coyotes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Robert Stroman, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Saintelmy, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate to victory, but perhaps none more so than TASHANDA MADZVIMBO, who scored 18 points. WYATT RICHARDSON was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with five rebounds.
Cypress Creek's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-4.
Cypress Creek will take on Pasco at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Cypress Creek focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday. As for Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate, they will face off against Carrollwood Day at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Carrollwood Day likes a good challenge.
