The Greene County Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 58-19 loss at the hands of Biloxi. Greene County was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-12.
Kam Lawrence was Greene County's leading scorer, having posted six points.
ShaNya McLeod held things down on the boards with six rebounds.
It was another big night for Zaniya Johnson, who scored 25 points along with three blocks for Biloxi. The matchup was Johnson's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Amari Merideth was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with four steals.
Greene County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Biloxi, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-1.
