For Centennial's part, Madeline Salter was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Salter was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double. That double was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Maddie Reese was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with six RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Layla Schroyer, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
