Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central). They blew past the Alliance Bulldogs, posting a 77-48 victory. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 24th in Wyoming, while the Bulldogs are ranked 111th in Nebraska), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Alliance still got an impressive performance from Espen Lanik, who posted 14 points and five steals. Lanik has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Seth Meyring was another key player, putting up nine points.

The win was the third in a row for Central, bringing their record for this year to 4-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Alliance, they moved to 4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-38 loss against Kearney on the 20th. As for Alliance, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 57-44 victory against Chadron on the 20th.
