Dominic Ezeonye Delivers Best Effort of Season
Dominic Ezeonye produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Wilson to the win on Friday. Ezeonye rushed for 244 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 126 rushing yards dating back to last season.
The win was the sixth in a row for Wilson, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Wildcats takes on Ontario at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

While Tyler Lewis delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Nogales. Nobody could stop Lewis as he threw for 365 yards and four touchdowns, and also punched in a rushing score.
Nogales now has a losing record at 3-4. Lewis and Nogales will venture away from home to challenge Pomona at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Rene Catarino posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made nine total tackles.
On the season, Catarino has averaged 6.8 total tackles per game and for the season has 3 sacks.

Samuel Abajuo was a major factor in Ontario's victory over Azusa on Friday. Abajuo did his part (and then some), rushing for 131 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries for the 'W'. His longest rush was for an incredible 85 yards.
Ontario's win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Jaguars challenges Wilson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

The second Nogales player making an appearance here is Orlando Zamora, and for good reason. He rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also picked up 42 receiving yards. His longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
