 David Emanuel Academy headed into their last  matchup having not scored more than 12  points for three straight, but Memorial Day let them put that streak behind them. David Emanuel Academy blew past Memorial Day, posting  a  44-12 victory. With that  win, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 27.1  points per game.
 It was another big night for  Clayton Hood, who rushed for 156 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 44 receiving yards and a touchdown. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 100.5  rushing yards per game. Another player making a difference was  Richard Braddy, who threw for 172 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 passes.

 Meanwhile, Fullington Academy made easy work of Vidalia Heritage Academy  on Thursday and carried off  a  56-34 victory. The Trojans pushed the score to  48-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.
 The  win snapped David Emanuel Academy's losing streak at three games  and leaves them with a 3-4 record. As for Fullington Academy, their victory was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 6-3.
