At the plate,  Wright  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs, while  Landon  scored four  runs while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances. That's the most  RBI  Ethan has posted since back in April of 2024.

Grace Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Ridgeview Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grace Christian will challenge Timberlake Christian at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Ridgeview Christian, they will head out to  square off against Regents  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.7  runs per game on average), something the Crusaders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
