The Lapeer Lightning's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 47-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Grand Ledge. Lapeer lost against Grand Ledge in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 71-38 score last time.
Grand Ledge's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elyjah Hendricks, who scored 12 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Hendricks has scored at least 25% of Grand Ledge's points. Another player making a difference was Micah Brown, who scored 8 points.
Lapeer's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Grand Ledge, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Lapeer will head out on the road to face off against Linden at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Grand Ledge's road trip will continue as they head out to face Saginaw at 7:00 p.m. on December 9th.
