Ellie Tolbert paced Chestatee's offense, picking up seven kills. Tolbert got some help from Emmalee Edwards and her nine assists. Tolbert also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Abby Migalla, racking up two apiece.
Cherokee Bluff got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Molly Young out in front who had 17 assists and 13 digs. Eden Cunnings was another key player, getting eight aces and four digs.
Chestatee has now lost 13 of their last 14 games on the road. That's done some real damage to their 8-10 record this season. As for Cherokee Bluff, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6.
