The Sylvania Rams entered their tilt with the Westbrook Christian Warriors with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Sylvania put the hurt on Westbrook Christian with a sharp 30-7 win on Friday. Given Sylvania's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 81st, while Westbrook Christian is ranked 214th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Sylvania's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.4 points per game. As for Westbrook Christian, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
Sylvania will be playing at home against Fyffe at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fyffe knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matches -- so hopefully Sylvania likes a good challenge. As for Westbrook Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against White Plains at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
