The Kings Knights will head out on the road to square off against the Fairmont Firebirds at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Kings has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Kings can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They blew past Loveland, posting a 63-29 victory at home. Given Kings' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 50th, while Loveland is ranked 280th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Fairmont came up short against Wayne on Monday and fell 51-39.
Kings has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Fairmont, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.
Kings came up short against Fairmont in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 49-45. Can Kings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
