It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Murray Spartans ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They secured a 47-42 W over Farmington.
It was another big night for Mia Auclaire, who scored 29 points along with three steals. Those 29 points set a new season-high mark for she. Another player making a difference was Nikki Joo, who scored five points.
Murray's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-4. As for Farmington, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Murray will head out on the road to face off against Woods Cross at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Farmington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Spanish Fork at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Spanish Fork has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
