Muhlenberg County was the  51-39 winner over Livingston Central when they last played one another  back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Muhlenberg County Mustangs took  a  54-36 bruising from the Livingston Central Cardinals on Friday.
 Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Brinly Sparks, who  went 5 for 7 en route to 11 points plus two  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Izzy Wilkins, who  posted 14 points along with two  steals.
 Muhlenberg County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Livingston Central,  the  victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Muhlenberg County is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they challenge  Breckinridge County  at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Livingston Central, they will face off against Lyon County at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
