Despite the loss, Cedarcrest saw an underclassman step up: Kiki Anderson dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds. Audrey Mattison was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds.
Cedarcrest has not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Lynnwood, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5.
Cedarcrest will take on the Mavericks at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Meadowdale presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Red Wolves in Washington (the Mavericks are ranked 16th, while the Red Wolves are ranked 229th). As for Lynnwood, they will head out on the road to take on the Panthers at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
