Malvern Prep is 8-2 against the Quakers since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Malvern Prep Friars will be playing at home against the William Penn Charter Quakers at 7:00 p.m. Malvern Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight contests -- so hopefully the Quakers like a good challenge.
Malvern Prep pushed their score all the way to 57 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 61-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Academy of the New Church.
Meanwhile, even though Springside Chestnut Hill Academy scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, William Penn Charter still came out on top. William Penn Charter sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 61-58 win over the Blue Devils.
Malvern Prep's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for William Penn Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season.
Malvern Prep didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Quakers in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 61-56 win.
