The Sky View Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. The game between Sky View and Pine View wasn't particularly close, with Sky View falling 59-43. Sky View was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Pine View apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Despite the loss, Sky View saw an underclassman step up: Zachary Oxborrow scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Macade Rolle, who scored 8 points.
Sky View has fallen quite a ways from their 23-3 record last season and are now at 2-4. As for Pine View, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Sky View will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Cedar at 12:00 p.m. Cedar is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. Pine View and Bear River will face off at 10:30 a.m. on December 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Bear River is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.
