The White River Valley Wildcats will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Woodstock Wasps at 2:30 p.m. White River Valley will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.
Last Tuesday, it was close, but White River Valley sidestepped the Wildcats for a 47-44 victory. Despite the win, that was the fewest points White River Valley has scored all year.
Meanwhile, Woodstock didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Rebels on Thursday, but they still walked away with a 49-44 win.
White River Valley's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Woodstock, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.
Everything came up roses for White River Valley against the Wasps when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 55-20 win. Does White River Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wasps turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
