Kathleen was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as George Jenkins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Jeremy Nixon and Jerome Groves certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Nixon dropped a double-double on 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Groves dropped a double-double on 15 points and 10 rebounds. Nixon scored a full 36.4% of Kathleen's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Jaiziah Battle was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 3 steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Kathleen and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for George Jenkins, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
