Basketball Game Preview: North Idaho Christian Royals vs. House of the Lord Christian Academy

North Idaho Christian has gone 9-1 against House of the Lord Christian Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Both will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. North Idaho Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.3 points per game this season.

Last Friday, North Idaho Christian didn't have too much trouble with House of the Lord Christian Academy as they won 42-28. The 42-point effort marked the Royals' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Idaho Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chelsey Cate, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. Cate's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Belle Jordan, who posted 19 points in addition to six boards and four steals.

North Idaho Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 32 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

House of the Lord Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for North Idaho Christian, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-2.
