Hickory H can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent contest last Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Faith Christian Academy 70-29 at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hickory H.
Tay Early continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 17 points. Latrell Parks was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Greater Vision Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against Forsyth Home Educators by a score of 58-46.
Johntez Raspberry and Titus Tucker were among the main playmakers for Greater Vision Academy as the former scored nine points along with two steals and the latter scored nine points along with five steals. Tucker hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Josiah Love, who scored 11 points.
Hickory H's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Greater Vision Academy, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-6.
Thursday's contest is shaping up to be a scrappy game: Hickory H have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 28.4 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Greater Vision Academy, though, as they've been averaging only 26.2 rebounds per game. Given Hickory H's sizeable advantage in that area, Greater Vision Academy will need to find a way to close that gap.
