Nolan Dezarn gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in May of 2024 on Monday. He made a splash, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Newark back in May of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Dezarn has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
