Basketball Recap: Challenger Skates Past Nebo Crossing Academy with Ease

Challenger hadn't done well against Nebo Crossing Academy recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Challenger Firebirds took their contest with ease, bagging a 66-29 victory over the Nebo Crossing Academy Bulldogs. With the Firebirds ahead 36-14 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Challenger's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kendall Reinhardt led the charge by going 8 for 11 on his way to 19 points and six rebounds. Braelon Roe was another key player, going 7 of 12 on his way to 15 points and six assists.

The win was the third in a row for Challenger, bringing their record for this year to 4-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Nebo Crossing Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
