Basketball Recap: Moss Point's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lutcher, Moss Point was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 48-39 win over the Bryant Hurricanes. That looming 48-39 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

Moss Point's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jujuan Nettles, who posted 13 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of William Rogers, who earned 11 points.

Moss Point's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8. As for Bryant, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Moss Point will face off against Independence at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bryant, they are taking a road trip to square off against Cottage Hill Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
