The Southside Christian Warriors's game on Monday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Iron Academy with a sharp 54-31 win. This was payback for Southside Christian, who suffered a 68-64 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Luke Boush continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Southside Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Mizelle, who scored 9 points.
Southside Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Iron Academy, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Southside Christian will be playing at home against Bethel Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Iron Academy is on the road again on Thursday and play against Howard at 5:30 p.m. on December 7th. Howard knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Iron Academy likes a good challenge.
