Space Coast received a tough blow as they fell 47-30 to Sebastian River. Space Coast has not had much luck with Sebastian River recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Space Coast lost, one person who can't be blamed is Taylor Hill. Despite the final result, she scored 16 points. That's the first time this season that Hill scored 15 or more points.
Space Coast's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6. As for Sebastian River, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
Space Coast and Edgewood will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Edgewood focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Friday. As for Sebastian River, they will be playing at home against Lincoln Park Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lincoln Park Academy comes in on ten and Sebastian River on seven.
