Southridge extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 1-8. They had to suffer through a 56-7 loss at the hands of the Westview Wildcats. The Skyhawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Westview found their leader in sophomore Reid De La Cruz, who rushed for 74 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries. Charlie Barton was another key player, throwing for 159 yards and two TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes.
